UX/UI Designer | Part Time

An exciting new opportunity has opened up for a UX/UI designer at Raw Ideas!

Work collaboratively with a team of programmers and project managers to distil conceptual models, define project wireframes and design elegant interfaces. We are looking for someone who is ready to establish and drive the creative direction of their projects, designing for a wide range of clients and internal products.

Must have skills and experience

• Minimum 3+ years' experience in interface / web design
• Ability to contribute to all stages of a project: planning, prototyping, implementing and documenting
• Communicate effectively with clients, programmers, developers and project managers to generate consensus around design solutions
• Work effectively as part of a cross-disciplinary design & development team
• Ability to design elegant and functional user interfaces for desktops, tablets and mobiles
• An understanding of capabilities and limitations when designing web-based applications
• Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, inDesign), Sketch and Invision
• A understanding of UX principles
•  Strong written and verbal communications skills

Bonus skills and experience

• Knowledge designing interfaces for Android and iOS apps
• An understanding and appreciation of web accessibility for both device and human accessibility
• Ability to create interactive prototypes either hand coded or with the use of software
• Experience with Premiere Pro or After Effects
• A degree or diploma in a design related field

This is a part-time contract position available to start immediately.
