Enrich your virtual environment and engage your audience with a true multimedia experience. Raw Ideas implements the latest multimedia technologies to enhance websites – including video (for streaming or download), animation, photo galleries, and much more! If you’ve got an idea for an exciting feature for your site, we’d love to help you implement it.
Video
The advent of high speed broadband Internet has really exploded the boundaries of what was thought possible five years ago. Today’s Internet users expect a media-rich experience and would much rather sit back and watch a video demonstration of your product than read three pages of text.
Our combination of web development, video production and event management experience means we have what it takes to manage your video projects from start to finish.
Video on the web is often poorly executed, with some videos only playing in selected browsers, exhibiting audio problems, or even the wrong encoding configuration - which will cause inconsistent quality or enormous file sizes. Raw Ideas uses the latest technologies, including HTML5, to deliver your videos to the end user and ensure your video plays consistently on all platform/browser combinations.
We can also serve alternate content for use by consumers with visual impairments, in compliance with the W3C guidelines. Closed captioning, alternate audio tracks and multi-language videos are among the many possibilities we have to offer our clients.
Animation
Adobe Flash is the most popular method for adding animation, integrated video and interactivity to web pages. We work closely with our clients to develop rich websites - while also ensuring that the site can still be enjoyed by those consumers that are lacking the Flash browser plug-in.
Examples of Flash projects we have produced include the Holden/Ford "Pulling Power" animation for the Sydney Telstra 500, which was driven by an XML feed of consumer SMS votes; the "Wishes in the Sky" display system, which displayed audience SMS holiday wishes on the large LED screens during the Carols in the Domain concert; and the World Youth Day display system, which displayed MMS (picture messages) on an animated globe, based on the home country of the sender.
Photo Gallery
Many clients have portfolios of images that they wish to display on their sites in a captivating manner. Raw Ideas has implemented an engaging Flash photo gallery for our clients to organise and display their images. Boasting a selection of different front-end interfaces, the Flash gallery can be tailored to the style of the client’s website.
