The marketing department at Telstra were keen to allow the public to engage with their Heroes through Telstra HeroMessage® campaigns. The web portal enables the public to send a message to their sporting, defence force personnel or business Hero and allow the Hero to view these messages of support.

The system enables messages to be sent via web and SMS and provides Telstra with the ability to moderate messages and receive daily reports. Since completing the base system multiple campaigns have been successfully competed including the 2010 Winter Games in Vancouver, ANZAC Messages for the Troops and the AFL Grand Final, to name a few.
