Loyalty is the Key
Coinciding with the launch of Channel 7’s new Sunrise brand in early 2006, the Sunrise Family website sought to increase viewer loyalty through many incentives offered by a free membership program.
Raw Ideas has designed and engineered the key online elements of this site which has facilitated promotions and regular newsletters to more than 200,000 members.
In September 2010, the Sunrise Family was relaunched to allow tighter integration with the existing Sunrise website, focusing closely on the ...
generosity of small business owners who offer 10% discounts to Sunrise Family members though the Small Business Directory. Raw Ideas looks after the online aspects of the Sunrise Family website, and as well maintains the line of communication with Sunrise members.
We arrange for the completion of new membership cards and provide email support for existing and new members - processing lost membership cards, password and general enquiries.
Brief
To celebrate the Sunrise Family “Reject the Recession” campaign Channel 7 wanted to refresh the Sunrise family website.
Providing a permanent forum for the generosity of small businesses by redeveloping the site to promote a small business directory in line with the newly launched Sunrise look.
Solution
While proposing a new, modern design Raw Ideas also suggested new cutting edge features which vastly improved the site’s usability and directory listing, including:
- A charity directory which allows members to add charities and promote events requiring volunteers.
- Interactive map integration from Yahoo!7 with geographical search, allowing members to visually locate businesses offering a discount in their area and charities in need of help.
- Integration with Sensis TotalCheck™, enhancing data integrity.
- A promotion system which allows partners of Sunrise to promote competitions and member only promotions.
- Updated facilities allowing members, businesses and charities to manage their own details and listings.
- A new content approval workflow to moderate user submitted content for the business directories.
