Brief
Becton’s retirement living division required a system which would allow them to easily maintain their many village sites, providing diverse functionality and be visually impressive.
The site template further needed to cater for the various village development phases, allowing staff to move the site from one phase to the next during the village’s life cycle.
Solution
After discussion with Becton, Raw Ideas proposed a solution that featured:
- Implementation of an enterprise Content Management System with multiple administration levels, allowing Becton to restrict users rights to edit, add and publish content. Integration of the CMS with Becton’s internal systems allows employees to log in using their workstation passwords.
- Interactive amenity maps, image & video galleries, news repositories, testimonial listings and search facilities.
- Integration with Becton’s CRM via a web service, to allow all contact information to be passed through to their customer relations department.
- Accessibility techniques including a text resizer to ensure the site is usable for people of all ages and abilities.
- The template solution provides Becton with an easy mechanism to launch a fully functional village site in a short time frame.
